Yorkshire Water’s PV rollout is a significant step towards sustainability and energy independence. BMG faced many challenges with these sites due to buildings with bats and buildings needing gas checked before entry.
Our approach
BMG Surveys Ltd carried out detailed inspections and structural appraisals across multiple sites, including:
- Assessment of steel and timber frames, purlin sizes, spans, spacing and restraint
- Full loading analysis (dead, PV, snow including drift, and wind)
- Checks at Ultimate and Serviceability Limit States
- Targeted engineering solutions and installation guidance
